Petra Funk joined Gibson Thornley Architects in 2022, following a freelance career working for many of the UK’s most prestigious architecture and design studios. As a management and marketing communications professional, she is adept at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and at juggling many simultaneous projects.

Petra speaks German, Spanish and several other languages. She holds a diploma in marketing communications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a masters degree in Arts Policy and Management from Birkbeck College in London. Since 2021, she has been a PhD candidate in history and architecture at Nottingham Trent University.
