Whilst at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Ben Gibson led this residential project.
Located on a former petrol station site at Camden Town’s northern gateway, the building creates an appropriate end to Gloucester Crescent. The massing of the building has been broken down to respond to the triangular site and neighbouring villas. Set within a conservation area the careful arrangement of volumes is contextual whilst optimising the floor space for contemporary apartments.
The cantilevering upper floors create a dramatic modern building whilst offering visual privacy to the terrace gardens below. All 12 apartments are dual or triple aspect and each enjoys generous external amenity space.
